Lively
and Spontaneous
Positive and fiery, Johnny has a fiery basic personality
and a positive outlook on life. He is ready to meet any
challenge that comes his way, and can be spontaneous,
impulsive, and ready to act on inspiration. When he is
interested in a given task and his curiosity is aroused,
he 'lights up' with enthusiasm, rarin' to go! When not
interested, he slows down and his energy level drops.
He will probably be inclined to do only that which he
likes. To counter this, you should give him rules to follow,
and instill a sense of discipline in him. However, keep
in mind that you should not go overboard. It is his ideals,
challenges and dynamic visions of the future that spur
him on, and make him the great child that he is. In other
words, you should inspire him, fuel his imagination, and
let him understand - as much as possible - why he needs
to behave! Giving him orders and commands will only make
him rebellious and hard to handle. |

Johnny is a competitive person and an individualist by nature.
He trusts his own instincts and likes to act on his own. Cooperating
and taking orders from others really isn't his cup of tea.
He is more of a leader - the child who suggests what game
to play, while his friends happily join in the fun. He is
an instigator - the leader of the pack. If others don't want
to follow him, he's likely to go his own way and do things
on his own.
His enthusiasm and positive outlook are among his is biggest
strengths. When happy, he's a very warm and friendly person,
an inspiration to others, as well as fun, interesting, and
delightful company. Though he has a fiery temper and will
blow his top, he will get over the issue immediately - as
he's not the sort to hold grudges. He has a certain honesty
and purity of spirit to him. He is an optimist whose innocent
nature allows him to see the good in people. He is also 'quick-minded'
in that he grasps things quickly and gets straight to the
point. So, you may have a son who is mature for his age and
ahead of his peers in many areas of development.
Tips on how to raise him: As
his parent or guardian you need to be firm, decisive and consistent.
He will respect this in you. Teach him patience and give him
clearly-defined goals - attainable ones - so that he can feel
a sense of accomplishment. Remember that routine tasks drain
his energy. Above all, make sure that he always finishes what
he starts. If he begins to falter or lose interest, spur him
on and help him remember why he started in the first place.
Try to recharge his enthusiasm. You might also try to ignite
his competitive spirit, since his energy soars when he feels
challenged.
Furthermore, make sure he gets enough physical exercise. This
is very important! All children need to be physically active,
but this applies to him especially. He will become very restless
and impatient if he has to sit still for long periods. So,
present him with a diverse variety of sports and enroll him
in one that appeals to him. Also, try to keep active together:
take walks, play in the park, swim, dance, toss a ball-you
get the idea. The more active he and other members of his
family are, the healthier he will be. (Sun in Aries).
